Keller, TX (PRWEB) March 29, 2010 -- The Keller Chamber of Commerce has named i5 web works "2009 Small Business of the Year." This honor is awarded annually to a business that employs less than 10 people and is active within the Chamber and the community.

"We chose i5 web works as 2009 Small Business of the Year because they are a very active Chamber member," said Chamber Events and Programs Manager Rhonda Seyfried. "They participate on committees and volunteer to work Chamber events, such as KellerFest, the Golf Tournament, and Wine & Jazz. They also sponsor educational programs like Leadership Keller. Their time, commitment, and skills have greatly contributed to the success of the Chamber and other area businesses."

The i5 web works team developed the Chamber's current website and is now in the process of creating a new one. Seyfried commended the i5 team for its involvement in the Chamber marketing committee and its commitment to maximizing the visibility of the Chamber and its members.

According to Seyfried, "i5 web works is such a great Chamber member and community partner. The Small Business of the Year award is our way of recognizing and thanking them for their fervent commitment to the entire Keller community."

i5 principal and co-founder Carita Weaver was named Ambassador of the Year in 2006 and has served on the Board of Directors for three years. I5 web works has been active within the Chamber since 2005.
